Beau's back-story is another of abuse, neglect and family breakdown. He has lived rough under bridges and on the streets since his early teens, with little support. Battling mental illness, Beau met Paul at Oasis after an inner-voice compelled him to travel down the coast to Sydney. Thanks to Oasis he now lives in supported housing and, correctly medicated, he has the potential to live a normal life and do all the things he aspires to - like work with Paul helping other young people at risk.
